Artist Statement

My sculpture is contemporary porcelain with mixed media.
Based on images from the past and the present; influenced by my heritage and experiences.

I think conceptually. Transcending these images through deconstruction.
Playing with opposites. The organic and machine. Ancient with Contemporary.
The pieces are then assembled and reconstructed into a new image based on the same concept. A new form.

The mixed media consists of acrylics. Photographs converted into transparencies some with drawings. Gears, wires and tools
